4. How effective is the combination of your main product and the ancillary tasks?

The image above is a still from a Katy Perry music video, and as you can see, the colours of her clothes and her locations are very natural. This is in great contrast her to album covers.

As you can see from this image, unusual props are used, such as the brightly coloured wig. There are a lot of effects and bright coloured used which is highly different from the music video.

This is quite similar to ours. Our ancillary tasks all consist of lots of bright colours and computerised effects where as our music video is more natural and realistic. Therefore I do feel our work works well together in relation to similar products of our chosen genre

We tried to keep a theme among both the ancillary task and the music video, so that they would relate and work well together. We did this through a number of ways. Firstly, as a lot of the music video was filmed within the studio, we tried to continue this by taking the ancillary task images in there also. We wanted to keep a professional, clean-cut look and we felt we could do this by keeping the same location, where we would be surrounded by high quality media equipment.

We also tried to make sure, that Jess was wearing similar style outfits in both ancillary task and the music video. We did not use the same outfit, but we did try to keep to the same colours tones and styles of clothing. We did this so that the costume would be recognisable to an audience and would also reflect the genre we were trying to portray as well as appealing to our target audience.

Secondly, we tried to reflect the same upbeat way that Katy Perry has. The song we chose is very upbeat and happy, and so we tried to keep that within the video by using quick cuts to keep to the beat and showing Jess and the actor smiling throughout. We also showed this through the happy narrative of two people falling in love. To try to adapt this to our ancillary tasks we used bright and bold colours to reflect the same feeling.

I do feel we really made a good attempt to make the ancillary tasks and the main product work together well, as I do feel that we have partially succeeded in this, i do feel we could have made them link together more. However when i consider Katy Perry's album covers and advertisements in comparison to her actual music video, this is actually quite common. Katy Perry’s album artwork, inserts and advertisements, are all very bold. They all consist of lots of bold colours, and styles of fonts, and usually consist of unusual props such as bright coloured wigs. This is in contrast to her music videos where they are much more realistic and feel more natural.

The Indie Pop genre focuses alot around people being very happy, positive, original and unique. This is something we really wanted to reflect. Therefore when we were creating our 'artist'; 'Jessie J'. We wanted to portray an image to an audience that really reflected those factors.

To do this we tried to make sure Jess was always smiling when filming and performing. We wanted her always look very happy and positive. We also tried to do this by having Jess really enjoying her performance, by dancing slightly as she sang. We did this in order to reflect a very happy upbeat feeling and type of person.

We did try to include the 'unique' and 'original' factors, however we actually found this quite challenging. At first we had tried to show this by using lot's of people in the background, whilst Jess was singing, to try to show her, as if she didn't mind any of the people around her and was just focused on herself and her own person. However we struggled finding large numbers of people to do this. Secondly, we tried to do this through bold costume choices, and we came to find we had a lack of clothes that would reflect this well enough, eg brightly coloured tops est.

3. How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

Technology has played a very vital part within every stage of our project,

One of these was the internet. The internet was very beneficial during our research and planning stages as it allowed us to analyse existing music videos and real media products of our chosen genre, in a really efficient way. By using websites such as 'You Tube', we were able to view large numbers of music videos with in short spaces of time, and this was really beneficial to us as it allowed our general time keeping of the project to remain on track. The internet also allowed us to help learn more on our target audience and gain direct opinions from them through social networking sites, such as blog’s, Facebook and Twitter, this was highly beneficial to us, as it allowed to come up with more ideas of how our music video should look, and ways in which to make it more successful by creating something that would really appeal to our target audience by finding out what they really wanted in a music video to what they didn’t.

Another piece of technology that became very useful to us was Blogger! It was a really great way for us to display all of our work and to show the stages of the project, and how each developed over time. It also allowed us too see in a really clear way how we were getting on, and the ability to always be able to look back at our research and plans in order for us to keep on the track we had wanted rather than steering off course.

PowerPoint presentation software proved very beneficial when presenting our work in a very clear and organised way. It avoided our blog’s becoming to 'wordy' and allowed us to use our new skills we had learned through creating slideshows.

The filming cameras were of course, one of the key elements of our project. Our use of them and the skills we have with them have developed massively, as for myself and Jess, the use of the cameras were quite new to us, as in our AS pieces we had both chosen to create magazine covers using digital cameras. Jess was the 'artist' for our music video, and therefore I filmed all of the footage. Jess was really helpful in helping me set up all of the shots and worked with me to plan out the ways the shots would be set and what would be involved with in them.

We used the digital cameras to capture the images for our ancillary tasks. For this we were able to use the skills we had learnt over the AS part of the course.

The last stages of our project highly involved the editing software on the editing machines. This programme is called Adobe Premiere. It was a completely new experience for Jess as she had never used the software before, and i had only had little experience with it during my media studies GCSE. Therefore it took us a while to get used too. However once we got the hang of it, it became vital to the really creating the overall music video, it helped us to really shape it and to add in 'cuts' and effects to make it look like a real music video. It also allowed us to correct any errors we had made whilst filming, such as cropping shots that people had accidentally walked in to shot, and brightening up shots we had filmed that were too dark.

When creating the ancillary tasks, we used the 'Adobe Photoshop' software. Hess had had alot of experience with this, and was really good at showing me how to use it also. We used it to edit our images for our CD cover, inserts and magazine advertisements. We were able to use tools to create different fonts, backgrounds, and layouts which all reflected both the indie pop genre and the look of the actual existing products.

The fact that majourity of the equipemnent and technology we used was digital, was a hightly benefical factor to us. During the ancillary task, when taking the images on the digital camera, was a really quick and effcient process. We were able to capture the images, and view them on the back of the camera so that we could view whether they were what we wanted, before uploading them and realising this later, which would have meant we would have had to performed a re-shoot. It also meant that we could take a large number of images on the SD cards and place that straight in to the computers and store them ready for use later. This was a really quick process and allowed us to continue with the project within great time.

This was very similar to when we used the recording cameras to film the shots for our music video. We were able to watch the clips back after filming, which allowed us to see if we needed to re-do the shot, or if we we had what we needed.

A final aspect of this was being able to upload our ancillary task pieces and our final music video on to social networking sites, where we were able to recieve direct feedback from our audiences. This is something that professional artists do in the present day.

Without Web 2.0 and all of the digital equipment, we would not have been able to do some things, and our entire process would have been a lot more time consuming.

2. What have you learned from your audience feedback?

Upon completing our music video and our ancillary task we arranged a number of tasks in order to gain some feedback from our target audience.
By doing this it would allow us to see how successful our video had been or where, if we were to do the project again, the changes we would have made, looking back.
In order to gain the feedback we used social networking sites to have direct feedback from real people. We used sites such as Facebook and YouTube.

(You may follow the hyperlinks above in order to review any comments we had)

During the production stages of our music video, feedback was very crucial to us. We tried asking a number of people from our target audience to watch it at different stages of completion, to tell us what they thought about it; factors they liked, and didn't like. This was a great way for us, to always make sure we were making the music video appealing to our target audience.

We created a questionnaire as another source to find some answers from our target audience regarding what they would want from a music video. The questionnaire is below.
Media Survey

This allowed us to gain some extra knowledge on what our target audience wanted from a music video.
During this time we did recieve feedback suggesting that the music video, at the stage it was at, at the time, consisted of to many shots in to many different locations. They felt it was not very consistent, and caused the video not to flow nicely from one shot to the next. Therefore we worked on this, and removed some shots that we had only filmed from one angle. We then made sure we introduced all of the scenes we would be using early on in the video, and that we returned to those shots frequently.

Another piece of feedback we had was that some of the shots were not being cut in the right places. They felt that the shots were not cutting from one shot to the next on the right beat of the song. Therefore we looked at this, and made each shot cut on clear beats of the song, or particular words. This actually made the music video alot better, as the cuts became alot more effective.

At the end of our practical work, our responses were very positive. Everyone enjoyed watching the music video and really liked the ancillary task pieces. Many of the comments talked about how they felt the  ancillary pieces looked realistic and believable and that the music video was really enjoyable to watch.

1. In what ways does your media product use, develop, or challenge forms of conventions of real media products? (How does it fit or not fit the genre)

For our A2 course this year, we were asked to create a number of practical pieces. This consisted of a music video, an album, including insets and finally a magazine advertisement advertising that album.
These all had to be based around the same 'artist' or 'band' we had created. This in our case was ‘Jessie A’. It also had to reflect our chosen genre, of indie pop.
Before beginning any kind of production work we had to look carefully in to the typical codes and conventions of the 'indie pop' genre. Myself and my media partner Jess, had to perform a mass of research in to existing music videos for this.
By doing this it allowed us to gain an understanding of the genre, and to learn what you would ‘typically’ find in any music video within that genre. This then allowed us the ability to consider our own ideas for what we wanted our own music video to look like, and the ways in which we could represent and reflect the genre within our own work.
We chose to re-create a music video to the song ‘Teenage Dream’ by Katy Perry; this is an artist whose music would be categorised as ‘indie pop’.

In the official Katy Perry music video for the song 'Teenage Love', the narrative is quite simple and basic and continues on one level throughout. The narrative and the lyrics together, suggest and express a story of how a young woman is experiencing 'love' for the first time and how happy this is making her. It expresses the feelings that come with your 'first' love or your 'teenage love' as a young person. This is shown through a number of shots of the artist and an actor spending time together and how happy they are in each others company. I and my partner Jess really loved this narrative and felt it was something we could both individually relate to in our own lives as teenagers now, and would therefore be able to capture this better when making our own music video. However when working alongside the narrative of the original song, we found it very hard to show this narrative visually. We did not want to simply use very stereotypical basic shots of the artist and the actor acting 'in love', and wanted to be more creative. As a result of this we developed the story we wanted to portray as our narrative alongside the song. We chose to make it more about the stages of the artist and the actor and how they try to begin their relationship. We felt this would be much easier to show visually, and it would be clearer to an audience what the story was. We also felt it would be easier upon our actors to act being 'in love' with each other, without feeling embarrassed, as we wanted the performance to remain realistic and believable. We filmed Jess showing her trying to get the 'boyfriend' to notice her, and continued this story throughout the video, the actor eventually notices her back and this leads to the beginning of their relationship. We found this a lot easier to portray visually. However we considered the research we had found from looking at other music videos. For example we had previously looked at 'Starry Eyed' by Ellie Goulding, this had a narrative of a young couple in love, and its narrative was similar to Katy Perry's.  Therefore we feel we have challenged this narrative convention slightly, by having a strong narrative develop throughout the video, rather than just having one repeated theme story.

The music video consisted of both performance shots and narrative shots. Through looking at our research we have presented on our blog you can see how we analysed the different shot types used with music videos of the 'indie pop' genre. We feel that we really captured the typical shots well. Our understanding of shot types was forced to develop from our quite basic understanding that we had in the AS part of the course, but this was a great advantage as it caused us to try to create more creative looking shots to try to attempt similar shots used within similar music videos. Although we partially succeeded in doing this, I do not believe that we fully captured the conventions and shots that we had been aiming for. We instead used more basic shots as a result of not having the elaborate sets and camera equipment that would have been used to make many of the video's we had looked at.

Within the original 'Teenage Dream' music video we found that she used alot more people/actors within her shots. This was something we did not do as we found it a struggle capturing the shots with larger numbers of people in, however in other music videos of the same genre it is very popular to find either single people in the shot or a two shot, and this was something we were much more comfortable doing as we were able to do it well.

Final Music Video

This is our final music video to the song of 'Teenage Dream' by Katy Perry.

Ancillary Task - Magazine Advertisement

This is our magazine advertisement. Jess took alot of control over the ancillary tasks, and I think she did a brilliant job. I think they really capture our genre well, and look visually appealing.

Album Insert- Tour Dates

This is one of the insert's to our album. We decided to include a list of tour dates and locations, as this is something you would typically find within an album. I really like this insert, i think the use of colours and fonts really reflects the genre well as well as the 'positive', 'unique' and 'original' image we wanted to portray.

Shot's we were unable to use

This is one of the shots we had filmed in the aim to have it within our music video. This was not used in the music video in the end as we felt it was to much of a close up, and did not work as well as other shots did.

Test Shots Round Two

This was one of our test shots that we did before our official filming. We actually re-filmed a shot very similar to this that was a main shot within our final music video. We really liked this shot. We felt it was really 'fun' and captured the 'happy' and 'upbeat' feeling that we wanted to portray. It was also a great example of Jess really performing the song.

Shot's Taken Out

Test Shots

This is an example of one of our test shots. We used this in order to gain a feeling of how the shots would look, and a way in which to put the thoughts we had planned in to a visual.

Shot List

1. Narrative shot of Jess. The camera will pan around the table to see jess in a school like situation and gazing around at Luke who is sat behind her in the background.

2. Performance shot. There will be a two shot of Jess and Luke- the actor of the music video, who will be playing Jess's love interest.

3. Performance shot. We will perform this same shot from a number of angles, and therefore the two shot will remain, being shown in a variety of angles, displaying Jess singing to Luke. As if it was actually what she was saying, or possibly, the things she wishes she could say

4. Performance Shot. Other music videos of this genre consist of a high number of mid shots, and therefore we will adapt to this and use a large number of mid shots of Jess singing and performing.

5. Narrative shot. We will then return to the narrative, to keep the music video, running along one story and to keep the video flowing and linked. We will use an over the shoulder shot, from behind Luke to see a shot reverse shot from the original narrative shot, of Jess glancing over to Luke from where she is sitting

6. Performance shot. We will use a mid shot to continue the performance scenes of Jess performing and singing the song. This will hopefully cause it to feel more like she is singing about what is currently happening in the narrative scenes.

7. Performance shot. We will then return back to two shots, using all the angles to continue the song, leading in to the main chorus of the song.

8. Performance shot. For the main chorus of the song we will use a lot of quick cuts between two mid shots in two different outfits, the use of these quick cuts is really common of this genre music videos and it will also really fit the upbeat tune of the song.

9. Performance shot. There will be a close up of Jess, which we will use for single lines of the song, to really enhance and show Jess's facial expressions.

10. Performance shot. We will then return to using the two shots, using all the angles. We want to keep using a variety of shots, and a variety of angles and use a lot of quick cuts, and this is very typical of music videos of this genre.

11. Narrative shot. We will use a pan from the wall to Luke, which will allow the audience to see Luke looking at Jess, suggesting they both feel the same way about each other.

12. Performance shot. We will use a number of close up's and mid shots, to continue showing the song.

13. Narrative shot. There will be a mid shot of Luke smiling at Jess.

14. Narrative shot. There will then be a mid shot of Jess smiling back at Luke. Suggesting this is the beginning of their relationship

Questionnaire

Media Survey

We conducted a questionnaire as part of our research and planning. As we had decided on our target audience, we asked a number of people, both male and female, to answer the questionnaire for us, in order for us to gain some direct answers from our target audience to understand what appeals to them, and what they want from a music video.

Album Insert- Lyrics

This is one of the insert's from our album. It display some of the lyrics from our chosen song 'Teenage Dream'.

Thursday 29 March 2012

Analysing the Song Lyrics

We thought it would be very key for us to analyse and study the lyrics of our chosen song 'Teenage Dream' in order for us to gain a greater understanding of the meaning behind the song, which would ultimately help us regarding narrative.

The song really seems to tell a story about a girl who is going through her 'first love', her 'teenage love' which is something you always remember. It shows the feelings that young girls go through as they go through this for the first time, and how happy they are. This song in particular, shows how happy the artist is.

We really loved the story of the song, and felt this is something that is really relatable to our target audience. As we are within that target audience, we felt we could really capture this and would therefore stand a much better chance at making it very appealing to our target audience.

Analysing Magazine Advertisments for Music Artists

We looked at a number of magazine advertisements in order to gain some ideas of codes and conventions of a typical magazine advertisement for an artist within our chosen music genre. One of the ones we looked at was Ellie Goulding.
Ellie Goulding Magazine Advertisment
Through looking at the adverts we have found a number of factors. One of which being that the artists name is always displayed on the advert, and always very clearly, and boldly, in order to make it very clear what the advertisement is for. The name is always displayed in the same logo that the artist uses to promote herself. For example with Ellie Goulding, she uses the one displayed on the image above, much defined lettering. The writing becomes what an audience associates as a particular artist. Therefore this is something we definitely want to do.

We have also found that the advert will discuss an album, and that it will display reviews from a variety of sources, describing their thoughts of it, these will always be positive, obviously to encourage people to purchase the album themselves. We really liked this, and again, felt it was something we definitely wanted to include upon our own magazine advertisement.

Another factor we found was that, the image of the artist, was not always clear. For example Ellie Goulding's magazine advert, does not show her looking at the camera, the image is side on. Therefore it is not automatically clear as to who the advert is about, minus the name. At first we thought this was not a good idea to try to do and planned to challenge it more, doing something like the 'Jessie J' magazine advertisement where it is made very clear who the artist is. However after more consideration we felt it was a really great way to become more creative and to hint and tease at the audience who is the advert is referring to, whilst making it very clear who it is through the title in order to attract people to it more.

Jessie J Magazine Advertisment
We learned from the Jessie J advert, that it is traditional to display the name of the album they are promoting but to also include mentions of popular songs from the album, in order to entice audiences more. We really liked this idea, and felt it would really make our piece clear that it was a magazine advertisement not a poster.

We really learned alot through studying the adverts, and i feel this has really benefited us as we come to make our own.

Target Audience

Before beginning our project we had to really consider our target audience, and who we wanted this to be. After choosing 'indie pop' as our musical genre for the project, we had to analyse this in order to understand who we would be aiming our music video at, and what would be most successful in appealing to them. The target audience we are working with in, is women aged 13-late 20's. The 'indie pop' genre has a large number of fans and it includes men and women of a wide variety of ages, however certain artists within that genre will of course appeal to some more than others. We debated that men could too; enjoy the music of Katy Perry, but in regards to target audience we felt her music and the lyrics behind her music were mainly aimed at women. We also thought about how, young girls such as those at the bottom end of the target audience scale (13) would perhaps enjoy the music, but not necessary understand the meaning's behind the song itself. Therefore we narrowed our target audience to a bit older, as we felt this would be the people who would be watching the music video. Younger members of the target audience would always be attracted to the artist, but more through the song itself and pictures, rather than music videos. Therefore, we want to keep the full target audience in mind, but try to focus mainly on the older end of the bracket. Myself and my partner Jess, are within this target audience, and are both personal fans of the genre, therefore we really feel like we will be able to really capture everything a target audience wants through our practical pieces we will make.

Katy Perry Single and Album Covers we Looked at

Looking at Album Covers

Album Over 1 'One of the Boys' Single

One aspect of our project is to create a album cover to go alongside our music video. In preparation for this, we decided to look at a number of other album covers within the 'indie pop genre', of which we had chosen.

This allowed us to consider some ideas of what we wanted our own music video to look like, through studying the typical codes and conventions of real existing products.

We focused alot on Katy Perry's Album Covers, as she was the artist's song in which we had chosen to do and are a key role model with in the indie pop genre.

We learned a lot through analysing the album covers :
Many of the album covers tended to use 'Mid Shots' to display the artist on the front. We really liked this as it was quite a simple shot, and also meant that we could focus more on the costume, makeup and pose of the model, to really enhance the look of the album.

Artists within the Indie Pop genre, especially Katy Perry, are really well known for really encouraging individuality and originality. They are also known for being quite bold and not 'following the crowd' The image above does not fully reflect this, but was a common factor in a high majority of the other album covers we looked at, a few of which you will see images of below, such as the single 'teenage dream'.

Album Cover 2 'Teenage Dream' Single
This is a brilliant example of showing the 'indie pop' genre. With the connotations of the genre in a mind, this album cover really captures it with its use of bold and bright colours. The use of a blue wig for the artists really reflects the uniqueness of the genre. The use of neon lights and colours upon this album cover really stood out to us, and we thought this would possibly be something we could try to adapt to our own as felt it really captured the genre, and really stood in relevance to the general look of the album.

Again, this album cover holds a mid shot of the artist. We think this is something we will most likely do ourselves. The use of the mid shot draws more attention to the artist, and that’s the main attraction. We also liked how this one was slightly to an angle and the way in which the artists face is tilted up, with her eyes looking up. It made the album a bit more creative and different rather than a basic mid shot.

Album Cover 3 'Teenage Dream' Album

We also found on a number of albums that special effects were used, to create abstract backgrounds. The 'Teenage Dream' album is a good example of this. We really loved this album cover. We thought it was visually striking and stood out against other album covers, however the effects they have used, such as placing clouds in the background and slightly animating her face to be quite 'dolly like' are not factors you 'typically' find on an album cover and were also quite out of our skills range. Therefore there wasn't alot that we were able to take away from this. However we did like the colour schemes and the fonts used for the text. The 'doodle' 'girly' style writing that Katy Perry often uses on her album covers, is something we would really like to try to adapt to our own album cover.

Album 4 'One of the Boy's Album
Another factor we found was the use of quite abstract props. Although we really liked this idea, we wanted to stick to our original idea of keeping to a mid shot, like a large majority of the album and single covers we had studied. Although this is something we may try as an alternative.

What this album cover did provide us with, was a good look at costume ideas for the cover. The costumes we have found very frequently on the covers have all been quite bold colours, or bold patterns. This is something we want to remember when choosing what costume we will choose.
Overall we learned alot through looking, analysing and studying the album and single covers and have gained alot of inspiration for our own.

Theories

Over the course we have studied a number of theories.

Andrew Goodwin- 'Music videos are simply an extension of the lyrics'

This theory has been a key factor throughout my advanced portfolio. I and my partner really agree with this theory, and we felt that by trying to apply it, we could really make something of our video. It helped us to plan and create the narrative shots, as we were able to analyse the lyrics and reflect the story behind it.

Why we chose 'Indie Pop'

We decided to choose the genre 'indie pop' to base our music video on. We looked in to a number of other possible genres; however we were quite keen on this one from the very beginning.

Both myself and my partner jess had chosen this genre for our foundations portfolio's and individually were both very interested in this particular area of music outside of the course and therefore we both had a good level of understanding of the genre, and of the typical codes and conventions. As a result of this we believed that we would be able to capture the genre and reflect it to a much greater standard than we would have been able to do with others.

Location Plans

We chose to use our school's professional studio to shoot the majority of our performance shots. We chose the studio as this would allow us to really increase the quality and standard of the music video by using the backdrops and lighting to create that 'professional look' that we wanted, and that is in, of course, professional existing music videos. We also chose this as it would always remain a reliable source. It would always be available to us and factors of it wouldn't change as say the weather would if we chose to shoot outside.

We chose to shoot our narrative shots within the school grounds. By doing this we would be able to reflect the 'theme' of the song. Our song is 'Teenage Dream' and it tells the story of 'young' love, 'first love' and 'teenage love'. The sense of it being teenagers gave us a really easy way to reflect by having shots of our actors, or our 'couple' together on the school grounds. We also chose this as it would be a perfect way for me and my partner to easily film as we are at school every day and can therefore always find time to be at our location frequently.

We used the sofas within the school to do some two shots of the artist Jess and our actor Luke. We felt these would be some easy ways to capture some moments of the two together in a school setting or a sixth form setting.

We also used some school objects to perform pans around for different points of the video to set the scene.

Ellie Goulding is an example of one the artists we chose to look at in order to analyse existing music videos of the 'Indie Pop' genre. One of the videos we watched was 'Starry Eyed'. This video is embedded below.

Considering Narrative for our Music Video

After analysing the lyrics to the song, we really wanted to keep the same vibe as the original, which was very happy. We wanted this as we felt it really captured the lyrics of the song. We felt that narrative would help show the lyrics visually and would give the audience characters to connect with as some kind of story unfolds. We initially wanted to simply show the characters in a relationship and happy, but when considering the ways in which we could show this to make it clear, we struggled. As a result of this we have decided to show the characters as their relationship begins, and them 'noticing together' all in the perspective of the female character; the artist. This way it would cause the lyrics to be the feelings of the female character. We also considered where we wanted to film our narrative shots. We felt that because the song was about teenage dream, that it might be nice to film some of narrative in our school reflecting teenage life. This make the characters appear in a natural and realistic setting to the story but would also be a really easy and efficient location for us as we have a constant ability to use it. It would also be reliable, as it would always be there and there would be no drastic changes.

Plans for my Next Step Regarding Filming

After looking at my footage today, myself and jess have decided that our next step would be:

- Research into existing music videos to gain some insight as to what we could do for our narrative shots.

- Film some narrative shots to add our music video, we feel that this would increase the quality of the film and allow it to reflect the genre to a much greater standard.

- We feel that we need to put in some more time to editing the footage that we currently have, as we feel we could add some more creative aspects too it.

- Research in to existing CD covers to allow us to gain a greater understanding of the typical conventions so that we can adapt to this ourselves when creating our own CD cover.

- Create our ancillary task using all the knowledge we have gained from our research

- Research into music posters of a similar genre so that we can gain a greater understanding of what to portray on our own.

- Create a music poster to advertise our 'artist'.
